PaulDavid's mom, You are BEAUTIFUL! I don't think you look "horrid" at all! You look pretty darn good now, you are gonna be a knockout when you lose the weight that you want to. ::yes::

I am so looking forward to updating these pictures in a few months and seeing how far everyone has come. It's going to be so exciting!

I cheated this morning and got on the scales to see how I was doing and I was already down 3lbs. bad, bad, bad I know but I just had to see! My official weigh in isn't until Monday so that was motivation to keep being good so that I can keep that and maybe add some more to it.

I used a lot of flex points yesterday. I was at my boyfriend's house all day and he didn't really have anything in the fridge so we went to the store and got subs from the deli. No excuse because I could have gotten something healthier but I added it in and I'm overestimating to be on the safe side. I split the sandwich between lunch and dinner and had some cool ranch doritos to go along with it. I estimate that I had 55 points yesterday (7pt. breakfast added into that). So I used 27 more flex points which leaves with only 6 more for the rest of the week. I don't want to use them so I'm going to try to be really on track for the remainder of the week.

This morning I had pancakes w/lite syrup for 5pts. 2 slices of turkey bacon for 2pts. and a banana for 2pts. so breakfast was a total of 9pts.

Thanks for the encouragement. It's frustrating. This is the heaviest I've ever been and I just feel uncomfortable.
For breakfast I had a yoplait lite yogurt which was 2 pts.
For lunch I had made a sandwich: 2 slices whole wheat bread was 1pt (for 2 slices) 1 slice mozzerella cheese was 2 pts, and I added some sliced tomato for 0pts, also added 3 thin slices of low fat turkey which was only 1 pt. So today I've used 6pts. and have 16pts. left for dinner.
I try to save a lot of my points for dinner. I am really bad at drinking water too. I have only downed 16 oz. today. Oops.

Chug-a-lug people!! ;)
 

I LOVE peanut butter! Even the 'lite' peanut butter is 5pts. for 2 tbsp.

My co-worker just had me try spagetti squash which I have never had before. She cooked it and put some in a bowl for me. Then added less than 1/4 maranara/spagetti sauce. So the squash was 0pts. and the sauce was about 1 1/2-2pts. And it is sooo good. Kinda makes me feel like i'm eating pasta. :goodvibes
 
I'll try to find a picture of me. If I can't I'll have DH take an updated pic. The last few days have been rough but I feel as though I'm in a groove right now. I have the mindset just need to keep it going. I haven't exercised this week - I've been fighting a cold so I figure I'd wait until next week. My DH has been home w/the flu all week so I'm hoping I won't get that.

Lets see my favorite treat is chocolate milk (weird I know) - I have it every morning w/my toast using skim milk and 1 Tbl chocolate syrup. I also love Quizno's subs or even Subway - I try to get a veggie one but every now and then I'll get something bad!!! And of course pizza. Oh boy I better stop I'm getting hungry:lmao:.

Anyone look at the restaurant forum boy do those pics of food get to me! Love 'em.

I had 3 cups of water today :thumbsup2 . During winter I find it hard to have cold water but in the warmer months ( I live in Maine) I'm always drinking it.

Keep up the good work ladies - 3 more days until weigh in!

I need and crave chocolate! Ecspecially at my TOM. This has been a battle for me to stay out of my kids left over CHristmas candy. But I have a bottle of water next to me and I am trying to stay on track.

TIday I had chicken nuggets and mac and cheese with the kiddos for lunch. It is hard for me to make two meals (one for me and then a seperate one for the kids). I know I blew my pts on lunch so now I need to find something extra low in pts for dinner.

How are you guys doing on excercising? I have not been to the gym in about a month now:eek: I really need to start back

Ok ladies - I think I got it! As I wrote before (when no pic showed :rotfl2: ), this was in Oct 06 (ignore the date on pic date stamp not set that day) when we went picking apples and pumpkins. I had 3 layers on - I'll try to get a better pic. This will due in the meantime.

JJ&JSMOM ~ cute picture. Your kids are adorable. Like someone else posted here, it's nice to put faces with names. I cannot wait till we can all post our "after" pictures :woohoo:
 
OK, I figured it out. This is me and DH at the beach over Labor Day weekend. I've gained about 5-7 lbs. since then.

Quick check in.... I'm feeling much better than I was yesterday. I ate well today, stayed at 20 pts and exercised for 25 mins.

I had Arby's for dinner, looked up points before going so I could make good choices. I had a reg roast beef and 1/2 med fries for 12 pts total.

I hopped ont he scale thi am, I've already lost weight!! It inspired me to continue to eat healthy and stick to it.

I told Dh I need him to take a before pic of me so I can post it and add it to my scrapbook, I should have one over the weekend.

Doing pretty good today. I've improved on my water - had 3 glasses already. I've already used 18 of my flexpoints this week - I usually don't use so much but I think so soon after the holidays and being used to all the munching on sweets I've done ok.

Need to get exercising again - I was doing so well until the week prior to Christmas. Thats next on the agenda. If anyone has some ideas for lunchtime let me know. Lunch is the most difficult meal for me - I usually skip it but I know I shouldn't.
