I have always been a little hesitant to join. I found out about them through Continental Airlines, in which they offer a 5% discount. I would be curious to know if anyone has had any luck with it getting a good return in savings from the program.

Member of OffDutyTravelersAdvantage - sounds like it may be similar or the same thing - It's not that good a deal IMO.
