Anyone Heard of Etsy?

The same happened to me. I got burned out of $60.

When I filed a claim, Etsy said they had already closed their account. I guess that means I am out of luck. It was a custom monogrammed bodysuit for my little punkins first birthday. I got the tutu and everything else ok, but not the bodysuit. I don;t know how I will find one in time and it matched the bodysuit from somewhere else!

I've sold on etsy for well over 2 years! Totally legit!

To those that have been burned, I am sorry. I personally won't order from someone with a 6 week turn around time if I don't know them. That is just too long even in the handmade crafting world. Paypal no longer protects you then!

I have never had a paypal claim against me or had to use it and have well over 2000 sales between accounts.

I did order an item from someone who never shipped. They said 6 weeks for a custom order, but thats how long you have to file the claim. They had a lot of feedback, all good, but now it's been too long to file a claim with Ebay.

Why would you file a claim with ebay if you bought through Etsy? I would think you could file a claim with paypal.

I have bought two sets of Mickey tie dyes off Etsy and everything went fine. I am now about to start selling tie dyes there myself(can't figure out the perfect Mickeys yet, but I have a lot of other designs)

Me toooooo! Bigtime. Freaking love love love Etsy. I could "window shop" all day long.

It was so funny when I saw this thread pop up, because I'm at work, with 2 monitors... on one, is the DIS, on the other is ETSY.
