Morning all,

I'm really bummed--I have been trying to make dining reservations at Disneyland this morning, and am unable to do so. The system is only loading 60 days in advance for November 18 (since today is Sep 19). But I'm checking into the Villas at Grand California Resort on Nov 18 and staying 4 nights, through Nov 22. In the past it's been no problem to make dining reservations for my length of stay. But today no luck. Called Disney Vacation Club and they couldn't help. No phone number for Disneyland dining, all online.

Anyone else run into this problem, and any solutions?

Thank you! Andrea

Just got off the phone with Disney Dining (though it's Florida Disney World the agent did try to email her colleagues and help me).

She said that Disneyland does NOT offer the 60+ 10 day dining benefit for resort guests. Wow, that's the first I've heard of this.

Do you all find that to be the case? :(

Andrea

That is unfortunately correct, Disneyland does not offer the 60+ 10 day dining reservations benefit that WDW does. You have to book each day at the 60 day mark. Please keep in mind that there are instances where even at 60 days, not all reservations drop (most do, and for those that don’t, usually others see the same and post about it/when it eventually opens).

When booking ADRs you need to do them 60 days out from each of your days.

Sometimes when staying on property the reservations will become available earlier on the day you book, like 5:30 am instead of 6amPST.

Last year when I booked and stayed at DLH I was able to book earlier in the morning, but this year staying at the Grand it didn't work, but I'm not sure why it's different sometimes.

When you look into ADRs again, try signing in earlier because if it works you're almost guaranteed to get everything you want.

At DLR resort guests have never gotten an advantage over offsite guests. You gotta log in every morning like everyone else :)

Thank you my knowledgeable Disney friends! I've been a DVC Grand Cal owner since it opened and have gone every year or so, yet never realized I had to wait each day of a trip for that exact 60-day point. How strange!!! This never seemed an issue before. Maybe all the restaurants are just getting more crowded. I love Disney but it's stressful at times! I think y'all would laugh at me. I've been practicing making my ADRs every day at 6:00 am sharp all week!!!!

Wish me luck on the real deal tomorrow!

God bless and have a great day! :P

I think we have all done that practice haha. Good luck!

Yep us to, the 18-23 the 18 is our arrival day. Tried to get trader Sams and it was a joke.

Oh how I miss when you could just contact Dining Services if you were staying on site and tell them the party size, restaurant(s), and the approximate dates/times for the dining you wanted. They would do all of the reservation stuff for you.
