Anyone have this glitch?

This started for me yesterday and I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing a similar problem.

When I hoover my cursor over a character the person's name usually shows up in a little image balloon. Well, yesterday when I did this the "balloon" was empty... no name. Just a blank Balloon. I can see dialogue and the person's name when they speak ... but the talk bubble does not have the colored frame around it (which comes in handy because the color of the talk bubble matches a persons shirt color). I tried restarting my computer but it did not help.
The only other thing I could do to find out who I was in room with was to click on the player for their signature. Everything there seems fine.

Does anyone know why I am experiencing this?

Sorry, never had that problem before. Sometimes if I have two VMK pal windows open, the computer makes the font on the screen really big, but closing down VMK usually stops that.

Yes this happened to me once before. It didn't bother me since I don't talk that much on vmk lol. I just left it and didn't bother about it and then after a few days it went away. However it only happened when I hovered over myself

I have those issues too. Somehow it got fixed (no idea how) but then I changed computers and it's all messed up again. I think it has to do with settings but I have no clue what settings will change it.

I have that when I set the color quality of my monitor at Medium (16 bit), otherwise I don't think I've ever had the problem.

Kasiks- I think you may have solved my problem! I did recently change the color quality. I am going to change it back and see if that works.
I will let you all know tomorrow. Maybe we are all having that same problem!

I did have this problem right when they introduced this new feature to VMK. I could not get any person's bubble to say their name.

What I did was change my computers Screen Resolution to the next closest setting, then changed it back. I logged back onto VMK and Wah lah. I got instant names over characters.

I am using a Windows XP Laptop so not sure what to suggest for Mac users, but here are the info...

Start/Control Panel/Display/ then Settings Tab at the top/ Screen Resolution Slider. Don't forget to Apply settings.
