It's on sale now on Amazon for 50% off plus free shipping but when I read the reviews they were terrible!! So do any of you have it? Does it work well? Worth $50?

I got it for Christmas. I love it. You should get it.

I'm not so fond of mine! For whatever reason the "toasting" is never consistent. I'll make a batch of toast, then another set and one will come out burnt, even though it was on the same setting.

And the little song it plays makes my Beagle howl every time!

I hate ours! It burns in places and doesn't toast at all in other places. The only reason we still use it is because DS likes the music  He's 4 years old and it's one less food battle I want to fight with him. It also looks nicer sitting on the counter than a regular toaster LOL

I think I'll pass! Dh would hate it if his toast didn't come out perfect! LOL I just thought it would look nice and Ds would like it as much as Mommy!

Mine was a gift from my SIL just last week for doing her taxes. I have no need for it. I alread have a perfectly good toaster oven. Also, the toast must burn on one side to make Mickey's face visible on the other. That said, I absolutely love it! It makes me laugh every single time the toast pops up and the song plays. My five year old asks me "Mommy, did you burn the heck out of the toast?" every morning, because I was so tickled by the toaster the first time we used it, that I was laughing as I scrapped off the burnt bits. Who gets this much enjoyment from a substandard toaster? Well, apparently I do!

I would never, ever have bought it for myself, I really have no space for it, and it doesn't work so great... and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

i have pooh and tigger one and i can't ever seem to get toast to toast to even have a sign of being browned.

I had mine less than 6 mths when the button broke. When you pushed down the button to make your toast, it would not stay down. Finally I got tired of holding the button down manually while it toasted.....so I tossed it in the trash! Loved it & it was adorable, but definately a waste of money for me!

Our almost 3yo GS lovers to hear the song. He enjoys putting in his waffle and pushing down Mickey and waiting for the music. Don't have to worry about seeing Mickey on the waffle, so not too concerned about proper setting.
Let me warn those out there that the toaster does EAT pop tarts. The tabs on the bottom are a little short and found out the hard way about this. Could not get pop tart out so I took the toaster apart and after about 3 hrs. finally got it back together and working properly. Somehow the button for the cancel had broken inside and luckily I found the piece and was able to Krazy Glue it on. Never again will a pop tart see the insides of this toaster.

By the way, I had to fix it because the belongs to Grandma.

I have one, still in the box. Glad to know it's not going to be the best thing in the world.
