I've been contemplating getting it but I like my knives to be somewhat sharp and these don't look like they would cut butter.

Anyone have a set? Thoughts?

I have them and so does DDIL.
No problem with the knives, but we use steak knives for meat too.

Same here.

The spoons are tiny though. I hate them. There are larger spoons (serving) and a bit smaller than a serving spoon--both of those sizes are good. The regular spoons are like a toddler spoon. :confused3

I've had my set for years--I guess they are the same. Mine still look good and everything. :thumbsup2

I have the sset with the Mickey head cut out of the handle. The knives are fine for spreading butter, etc, but we have always used steak knives for cutting meat. My gripe with the set is that the salad forks and teaspoons are tiny...like toddler sized. Fine for us, since our kids were little when we got the set, but something to be aware of, as now they just waste space in the drawer.

I forgot about the the tiny forks...I have them in the back of the drawer! lol

Yes, the small forks and spoons are hilarious. I do use the small forks for desserts. The small spoons only get used to get the cat food out of the can. But I do like the set. We also use steak knives for steaks, but for pork chops or chicken, the knives cut just fine.

We use the small spoons everyday. Doesn't bother me any.
The forks not so much, but DD (adult) always, always uses salad forks only from any set :rotfl:
I love this set and they are nice and heavy.

Got the set too. I've had mine for quite a few years and they still look great. But yes the spoons are small , and I use steak knives to cut steaks and use the butter knives just basically to spread butter.

I was at an antique shop recently and saw a set of Mickey Mouse flatware that was black handled, and then the base of each piece had the silver ball shape of a Mickey Head . ANyone have these? I was tempted.:cheer2:

I have them and have never had any trouble with the knives. I found spoons at Target with the exact same finish, curvature, and shape but without the Mickey icon. I have used them for 2 years and they all look new still. I use those with the other pieces of the set and the tiny spoons go to the children.

I have them and love them, despite the tiny forks and spoons. Many of the products that have the disney name are crap! I have so many things that have broken quickly that I bought basically because it was disney. However, this silverware was a good purchase. It is nice and heavy, as a PP already mentioned and it still looks like new after years of use.

Good Luck!
