I haven't seen a Close to my Heart catalog in quite some time. I got in contact with a local demo and she dropped off a catalog this morning. I've been thumbing through it and noticed that they have a Cricut cart that also comes with 3 stamp sets and some chipboard.

Do you have this cart? How do you like it? Do you have any of the other stamp sets that go with it? I've been out of stamping for quite a while but I'm slowly building up my stash again (mainly to do Christmas cards) I'm just wondering how many "Christmas/Winter" cuts there are on this cart?

It is a FABULOUS cartridge. In fact, it is the reason I bought a Cricut and the only cartridge that I use. There are 700 images, the "feature" buttons create a wide variety of images for each of the basic buttons.

My favorite feature is the Card which creates a card with the basic image - either a shaped card, or a card with a cut-out in the front of it. There is also a Tag feature, a Font, and a Decorate Font. There are six different spiral flowers that you can cut and roll up into different flowers. You can cut this any size you would like on any color paper. In addition, there are some 3D items - a pillow box, gift bag, petal box, chinese take-out box, etc.

It is definitely worth the investment. And I haven't even mentioned all the shapes which coordinate with stamp sets. You can simply cut the image at the size which is noted on the stamp set package and then stamp your image on the cut shape. No more hand cutting out your image after stamping. In addition to the three stamp sets that come with the Art Philosophy cartridge, there are quite a few stamp sets in the Idea Book with a red outline around some of the images. These red outline images have a coordinating image that can be cut using the cartridge.

If you have any other questions, just ask. :goodvibes

THANK YOU!!! I just took a peek at what's included on this cart and now I'm hoping I'll find it under the Christmas tree this year!!! LOL

I just learned about this cartridge a couple days ago & I'm really leaning towards buying it. I like the border punches for card making & currently don't own any. Space saver for me having them on a cartridge. Along with all its other images.

I watched several videos for the cartridge on youtube.

This PDF from the CMTH website shows all the images, shadows & feature keys.

Also found out that Creative Memories makes some Cricut Cartridges also.

I have it but I have not cut anything with it yet - designed, yes, but not cut. I love the doily feature, and the design that I did used the abc font page, which I am not sure how to describe. I will be using it extensively in the next few days as I will be cutting the pieces for my December Daily and will be using a bunch of tags from that. I can't wait to use the coordinating stamps!

Shut the front door!!!! OMG that is awesome!

Caved in & ordered it tonight. With DH deployed & likely that he won't be buying me anything for Christmas, we'll just consider it my Christmas present to myself for all I've been through this year. :goodvibes
