Just got done watching the infomercial for the Ab Circle Pro while doing my ironing. To me, this seems really interesting but then you have to take into consideration that it IS an infomercial and these things usually are bogus.

But the places that I need most help in IS from my waist down to my ankles LOL and this seems that it would help out.

If you have it.....how do you like it.....how long have you used it.....how has it helped you? And is there a weight limit for it?

The only equipment you need to work your abs is your floor. Equipment can help structure a work out but it's not going to be some miracle change, you still need to put the effort it in (and with some equipment, you may actually need to put more effort in because you're doing a less intense workout).

The floor doesn't look nearly as fun as the Ab Circle Pro..

OP! I dont have it but it really does look fun! :rotfl:

It does look fun doesn't it? I have only seen the regular commercials for it, and I will admit it does look like fun, but i have really hard time believing it actually works. The only exercise equipment I use for my abs is a stability ball, a resistance band and the dvds that go with each of those. And those will cost you less than the Ab Circle Pro.

I was intrigued by this contraption too, but it has gotten a LOT of really bad reviews on Amazon.com.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some equipment only works the muscles in 1 particular way. Every commercial I've seen for Ab Circle has them going side to side, well that's fine for the obliques(side walls) but how would it work the front and back walls of the abs? You really need to work all 4 sections to really tone the abs.

Keep in mind that you can't "spot reduce"
Now you can really work those abs to get a six pack -if you don't have a layer of fat there covering it up.
If you have extra weight on your belly (I do) you need to burn more calories than you take in. Plain and simple.
Sigh

OH boy, just read some of them:scared1: OP Don't buy it. Most of the reviews say it broke in less than 2 weeks. That's a lot of money to spend on something that'll break in 2 weeks. Now, my stability ball OTH cost me around $20.00 give or take and despite needing to find a better video than the 1 that came with it(cause it was terrible), I am still using it a few years later, even more now that I switched out carpet for flooring. And i absolutely love it. And its well constructed too. My dog puts his paws on it all the time and i don't worry about it at all.

IMO now that i have a new set of videos that incorporate abs work on the floor, doing the work on the ball is actually more intense on the muscles. But I love both video sets.

I tired out one for fun at my local sporting goods store.

It was hard to get the thing going. You think, okay just swing from side to side.....umm it took a bit of coordination.

I'll stick to walking and the floor.

It also had LOTS of bad reviews on HSN when it was on there... :scared: They're ALWAYS on my craigslist, not a good sign.

I have it. I used it on occasion. It does work ur sides which I like. What I don't like about it is I have fallen flat faced onto it. I'm petite, only 5'1", not heavy either, where you put ur knees isn't quite deep enough. Not sure if I'm a little short or what it is. I put a pillow on it inow in case I do fall, lol.

Yep, the best thing a person can do for abs is lose weight. And you do that by burning calories. And you do that by working your whole body... hard.

I have one (bought it on ebay for half the price they are online or in stores) I have lost about 2 inches from my waist, and it does work... however it is HARD as heck on the knees! Oh Lordy it is hard on the knees. My knees were bruised and sore for probably the first 2 wks I used it.

I have had mine for 4 months, it has not broke, and Im pretty close to "pooh" sized. I wouldnt have paid full price for it though.
