Anyone have something different than PB&J on the GF Pirate Cruise ?

My DD absolutely hates PB&J. She'll eat a butter sandwich.

My DS & DD are doing the Pirate Cruise on June 24.

How can I get her someting else than PB&J ?

I send her with a water bottle. She's not fond of juices either.

Anyone else request something different for their children to eat ?

My DD will eat gummies & rice crispy treats. But that would not be a great lunch.

Please help

When my DD went in 2000, they didn't serve any sandwiches at all. They had fruit and juice drinks.

My kids had the menu you mentioned but were really too excited to eat much (which we had figured) so we rode the monorail over to Epcot (Mondays are always really busy in MK) and had a 1:00 PS at San Angel Inn. Our kids looked so cute in their eye patches, bandanas and beads, they got lots of CM comments about the Pirates Cruise. We enjoyed hearing all about it over a relaxing lunch.

BTW, it was pretty easy to get up front in the monrail with the driver as the station at GF was not at all busy at noon!

You could have DD eat a big (healthy) breakfast to get her through the trip. Then if she only ate the treats that would be ok.

My DD hates pb&j also, but since the trip was late morning, she just ate breakfast before hand and we went and had lunch after it was over. I just told her that they were serving pb&j and she didn't have to eat it.

We did the same as the others here. Our kids don't like the pb&j either so we had a lunch over at the snack shop/arcade place near where the boat drops them off and they played with their *loot* while having lunch. They are much too excited to eat when they're on the cruise anyway. We just gave them a late healthy breakfast to keep their energy up. We'll do it again next week! Can't wait.
