Hello,

I was wondering if any of you had professional pics taken of your family while on vacation at disney world?? Is there an easy way to see such pics? :confused3 Would you mind sharing yours with me so I can get an idea of what to expect?!?

Also, how much does it cost to have a photo shoot done!?!

Thanks so much

Wow those pics are AWESOME! Thank you so much for sharing! I would love to see as many pics - from as many families who are willing to share. :) How do I find out how to 'sign up' for these pics if our family decides to do so?!?! Thanks again!

The wedding board might be a good palce to post this, a lot of the girls have had engagement pics done at various locations. They also can prob steer you toward some good local photogs that can take pics around the world (like the resorts) if you dont want to have a park photo shoot done. There is a lot of talk of Randy, and Misty Miotto, amongst a few others.

We had photos done on the beach at Poly right after our wedding. Randy Chapman did an AMAZING job.

Here are a few

There are TONS more in my TR, I tried to find the ones that are the least weddingish lol

We used Vicki & David Arndt on Spring Break. They were tremendous, can't say enough. The pics are on my Facebook page and I also posted a review on the wedding boards.

We shot at the GF, the monorail and the Poly. At the time it was $200 for 2 hours, we added an hour and have all rights to the pics.

I know they don't offer the same package anymore, but we had the honeymoon package back in 2001 on our, you guessed it, honeymoon. It was 2 hours at the MK. He took our picture in the coolest places! My fav was kissing on a spot at the back of the castle. He opened a special "gate" for us and we climed up some stairs on the back and took a few shots. Then they mailed it to uss in a silver-embossed, white leather album. They put the rest of the pictures that didn't fit in an envelope and stuck those in there as well. What a memento! So glad we did it! If WDW is your fave place, I recommend getting prof.pics done there. DD had some done at the Poly after dinner at Ohana's one night and those turned out better than our pro photographer at home...had something to do with DD's unwillingness at home and being so excited at WDW...go figure!

Ours were done in '07.There was a deal where you could get a professional photo shoot if you prepuchased the Photopass CD.

I have no idea if this is still available. I think we paid $25, and got all the pics included on the CD. It was an awesome deal!

I think we have about 100 of them. I was very pleased.

ETA - the low quality of the pics is because they were uploaded to photobucket as smaller files. They are very high quality in "real life." With the CD you also get the copyright to the pics, which means you can have unlimited copies made. I used one for our Christmas card that year!

there used to be a massive thread,on the resorts forum,a couple of years ago & there were tons,of pictures posted, from lots of families.
i'm sure someone will remember it & may post a link for you,as i don't know how to do it.
there really was, some fantastic pictures.hope someone helps.with the link,

HI again!

Thanks for all of your help - i was wondering if you all had someone like Randy Chapman do your pictures for you - of if it was one of the many photographers who take pics for the photo pass in the parks?!? (hope this makes sense..)

Still hoping more people will post on here..or that someone knows where to find a link for this!?! :)

Thanks again!

When we did it at the Poly, I'm not 100% sure they were professional photographers. We did get some nice shots, though. That said, Randy Chapman is amazing, I wish he could have done our wedding!

We used Photopass for our '08 WDW family grand gathering and loved their reasonable service. Each family was given a card and they took probably 3-400 for pictures taken throughout the park :thumbsup2. We were given a copyright release and could print all the photos we wanted upon returning home.
Here's a sample, family and grands pix taken at the Poly. :goodvibes
