Anyone have porcelain veneers?

I've been thinking about getting these for my two front teeth, was wondering if it's a hassle? do they often break etc? Someone with that million dollar smile, help a girl out.

I have them on my upper four front teeth. Love them!
I got them when I was 19 or so (about 14 yrs ago). I have a tiny little chip on the backside of one, but it can't be seen. I can feel it, though. My nephew accidently popped me in the mouth with his head.
I haven't had any problems with them. Every dentist I have seen, compliments the work.

I have porcelain onlays on three of my four incisors. I needed them built back up due to grinding my teeth in my sleep. Even though my dental plan would have paid for crowns (a more expensive solution), they wouldn't cover the onlays. Go figure.

I've had them for 10 years and did manage to chip one slightly. My dentist was able to polish the chipped spot smooth. I know that sooner or later they will have to be replaced.

I have them and love them! The biggest hassle is that I have to wear a mouth gaurd at night because I grind my teeth. It's not that I mind wearing it, but I worry about forgetting it. And then the other night I fell asleep on the sofa and woke up at 4:00 am panicked that I was grinding away thousands of dollars of dental work! If you don't grind your teeth, though, that won't be an issue for you.

Thanks everyone, I'm finding out today what my insuranse will cover.
I do grind my teeth, the back not the front. I wear a gaurd anyway no big deal.
I have been unhappy with those front teeth for a long time, so I'm hoping my insurance will cover some. Thanks again.
