Anyone have opinions about Hertz at MCO?

I usually use National, this time I'm using Hertz. Are the cars in walking distance or do you take a shuttle? Any info appreciated.

From what I understand, Hertz is located away from the airport and you will need to take a shuttle to get the vehicle.

Hertz is about a mile away from the airport and you pick up the shuttle on the lower level at the airport and you also return your car from where you pick it up!! There is usually a shuttle waiting at the pick up area at the airport. With very little wait time.

when dropping off the car they ask you which airline you are flying, as they break it up in to the 2 terminal groups!

The MCO Hertz has always been very efficient when I have used them. The shuttles run pretty often and they seem to do a good job with return.

Hertz is great in Orlando. If you want to save some time sign up for their #1 Club or Gold and you can bypass the counter and just go to your car. We used to use National but since they don't have much of a selection on the Aisle I will use Hertz since I use them every where else.

I am not one of their club members, but the wait to get your car was never that long. If its raining, an attendent will pull the car up for you so you won't get wet.
