Anyone have luck w/ cheap last min or walk up rates?

My husband may not be able to make our trip, so my mom may take his place. If he is able to make it for part of the trip, my mom is going to need a room for a night or two, but his trip would be a last minute deal so it's tough to plan.

Has anyone ever gotten a good rate doing this? We're staying at WL - it doesn't matter where she gets a room - All-star would be fine...

Any thoughts?

Why not make a reservation now for the extra room if you find a good rate? Then you have time to cancel when the time gets closer.

I don't think you will find any deals as a walk up. They would call CRO and give you the current rate.

I just didn't know if I would have to put down a deposit like I did for the FTP.

I don't know what the deposit was for FTP but usual deposit is one nights lodging. If it was at All Stars it shouldn't be too bad. You might be able to have them transfer that deposit to your reservation if you need to cancel the other room.
