Anyone have luck adding a night or two after booking?

We were hoping to book 6 or 7 nights, but on the day free dining opened to the GP, the best I could find for our family of 5 during our desired week was 5 nights. The CM encouraged me to keep calling in and checking, but so far, no luck. We are at AoA in a Cars suite November 17-22. I'd love to tag on a day or two at the beginning at AoA (I wouldn't mind a split stay, but don't think we will get good rates since it's not the minimum nights for discounts). Looking for some positive stories here as I prepare to do ADRs and flights this week without knowing our complete dates yet. Thanks!

I would still keep trying. You could do a split stay at POR. If there are giving a room discount there is no minimum days you need to stay. We did this last year. We had to arrive a day before the fd started. We got a room only at pofq with a 30% discount then switched to POR the next day to start the fd portion of our pkg.
