Anyone have info/reviews on the Fairfield?

I just used Marriott Rewards points to book one night at the Fairfield on Harbor before we check into the DLH. Is there anything we should know as far as where to request a room, etc? I know they don't have free b'fast and we planned to hit McD's on our walk to DL that day. TIA!

We stayed there last year and we loved it. We were up on the 7th floor towards the Harbor side end. We were able to see the fireworks and I got some great night time pics of the parks. We were there in April and the pool on the main floor was always busy. I would not have wanted to be on the ground floor. Especially with young kids. HTH!

Thank you! We will only be there one night but I still want to get a decent night sleep before the parks the first real day. I did call Marriott and requested a room away from the elevators, and now I am going to call and request a room on a high floor. Thanks!

We stayed there in 2003 and thought it was pretty nice. We were just across from the pool where there are only 2 stories of rooms. I recommended it to my sister who stayed in 2005 and she complained about it, but she can be kind of picky. I did read a little about bed bugs there last fall, but that can happen anywhere. Marriott properties seem to be pretty decent, so I think you'd be fine there.
