Anyone have february vacation plans?

We usually go to Orlando for 10 days over school break, but this year we are doing a Thanksgiving cruise instead. But I know Feb. will be here very quick and am thinking of driving to Orlando from Ma to make it an affordable "extra" unplanned vacation. Don't know if we want to do the drive though.

So anyone else have winter vacation plans?

No plans yet but, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I want to go to Florida (not Disney but, to see my family-my sis is having a baby in early January) during my kids winter break(end of Feb.) and then go to Disney in Nov 2011 (to see it decorated for Christmas). DH wants to go to Florida in August spending 1 week with family and 1 week at Disney. I really don't want to go in august because I am not a summer girl! I have been trying to convince him but, he is being a PITA!!

We leave for Egypt in a few weeks and next year it's going to be Costa Rica in May, WDW in October and I'm starting to look into the possibility of Ireland in between. So I think in February I might make a short vacation to Las Vegas.

Disneyland for 5 days in Feb.
WA house for a week in Jan. for clean-up and then drive to Vancouver, BC with BFF for our annual birthday trip.

We are going to disney feb 11 th - the 19th hoping the weather is warmer then some had last year , but then again we are from ND so anything is warmer then that.

We have a Disneyland trip planned for Feb, but I may have trouble finding someone to cover for me at work. Nuthin' like having lots of vacation time, and no one to cover for ya!

I was thinking Jan but now it looks like Feb 5-9.

Course I was also thinking POFQ and now it looks like a 1 bedroom at BCV or BWV.


Decisions, Decisions!

I did go Jan 2009 and loved the weather, I'm all for the south in the winter.

...So I think in February I might make a short vacation to Las Vegas.

My husband and I are taking a short trip to Las Vegas in February, too. We were there earlier this year, and I swore I wouldn't go back for a long time. I did terrible at the slots! The trip before that one, I hit for $750. on a quarter machine the first night we were there. You just never know! Anyway, we're going back, but more for the fun of walking the strip, eating at different places and shopping, and less for the gambling.

We are going to Florida (St. Petersburg) for a few weeks the end of January.

DH called last week all excited about having time off in January where we could go see the Mouse. We usually go and spend about 1 days at WDW and he always does the marathon or Goofy. Not this year though. Then, he got this time and wanted to go but it is over MLK weekend and I said," No way." We usually leave right on Thursday, Friday or Saturday before MLK Day and the crowds are too much for me. I'm sorta hoping he'll have better break in Feb. If not, March. lol
