Anyone have auto/home insurance through AAA/Western United??

Hi all,
I have been looking to get better rates on my auto and homeowners insurance. I decided to call AAA and they gave me some great quote (same exact coverages that I currently have).

The company that these quote are through is called Western United. I have never heard of them, so I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with them. Please let me know the good and the bad before I switch my insurance and make a big mistake.

By the way, if I do go with this company, I will be saving $347.00 on my homeowners and $375.00 per year on my car insurance. That's like having an extra $722 towards Disney.

Bumping---someone has to have their insurance thru AAA...

We just got rid of our AAA homeowners insurance. the quoted rate was only good for the first year...it kept going up after that even though we had no claims. They sent us somethign about switching who they were using to carry the homeowners insurance and that the policy would not automatically renew, so we called around and are saving almost 50% by going back to State Farm.

we have ours through AAA but the company is Interinsurance Exchange. We have had car and homeowners through them for 3 years and our rates have not gotten an higher in that time period. We have been happy and have save lots of money compared to our previous company!

I JUST switched to AAA (effective today). They had MUCH better prices than their competitors. We'll see...

I have AAA insurance for home and auto, have for the last 13 years, but ours is through Travelers (who I had before and AAA saved me a LOT for the same coverage!).

I've never had any issues with them, and the claims that we've had to do (water damage and a shattered glass cooktop, and when I got rear-ended at a stoplight) were handled very quickly.
