Anyone have any RPR renovation updates?

I am trying to decide how to split my stay in 12/07. I have stayed at RPR and loved it but I have never stayed at HRH. If the RPR gets renovated I am sure it will be even better.I am a Loews Gold member I can upgrade to a suite for $35.00 more a night if available when I checkin so if the RPR is renovated I may just stay there. I would appreciate any information you can give me.

I think there are only rumours going around about the RPR renovations. I haven't heard about anything final yet.

The only thing I know is that they changed the bedspread in our room between our visit in September and our visit in December. We had the same room both visits, and the dark maroonish bedspread was changed to a gold, down comforter. Brightened up the room a bit, but I haven't seen or heard of any other renos.
