Anyone have any ideas?

Just for background my dd29 has a list of medical issues. She has Nuerocardiogenic Syncope, POTS, PSVT, had a cardiac ablation done in January for VT, premature heartbeats, gaut in one foot, arthritis in her finger, polycystic ovarian syndrom, GERD, IBS and a platelet clotting disorder.

Yesterday at work she started having severe pain in both hips and knees. The fingertips on one hand are red and inflamed. Any idea what could be causing this. She does have an appt with her local Cardiologist today (her main Cardiologist is 2.5 hours away).

Honestly, only your doctor should be diagnosing this, not internet forums.

When does she see her rheumatologist (I assume that's who she sees for her arthritis) next? It sounds to me like her arthritis has spread. I agree, though, that you really need to encourage her to see a doctor. I can think of a half dozen things ranging from relatively common to rare that would fit that combination of symptoms/conditions.
