Anyone have an update at T-Rex in DTD?

Our trip is planned for 12/29-1/12 and my 5yo is dying to eat there. I heard it is scheduled to open late summer/early fall; but I haven't heard any updates. Are they on schedule to open on time? Anyone have any construction pictures? I am curious to see it.

We looked at it 2 weeks ago while at DTD and it sure looks like it has a long way to go There is a high "fence" around it on the DTD side (maybe the Pleasure Island side looks different) so you can't see much of the actual construction. Keep checking WDW Dining the months before you leave. If it's open, they'll be accepting ressies. We're hoping for June 09 cause we'd like to go there too

We were in WDW last week and it looked like it definitely has a long way to go. I can't see it opening anytime this summer....fall is pushing it too in my opinion. Especially since the two times we were there, there wasn't anyone working on it.

I believe that they have pushed the opening date back to November 2008. I recently read an article concerning the changes to Downtown and in that article Disney indicated a November opening for the T-Rex.

I talked with a CM today (asked her about the Pirate restaurant) and she said this should be a go by late August. (T Rex)

She said she'd heard talk of this Pirate TS coming but no details just yet. I hope that is true. It would be nice to have a Pirate themed place to dine at the MK.

I wish they'd hurry it up already. I would think by December T Rex should definitely be up and running.

Pirate restaurant??? I haven't heard of this, DS would LOVE it!!! They definitely need a good "boy" (to be stereotypical, I know) character meal!
