We are headed out in June and I would love to read some trip reports of those who have had experience recently with the DAC. Anyone know of any such reports?
You can look in the Disability forums! I'm not sure of any reports but we just went in February and used the DAS card and had a great experience! You don't need proof of the disability you just basically need to explain why you can't wait in line. For Instance, my son is on the autism spectrum and is mostly non verbal and also has sensory integration disorder and ADHD. His attention span is short and he rarely sits still so he has a difficult time waiting in line so we prefer to wait in line elsewhere. That's basically what the DAS is. It allows you to get a return time ten minutes less than the actual wait time of the ride and you can wait while you go eat or change a diaper, take a rest some where, etc. And once you get the return time you don't have to come back right after the time is up. You can take as long as you'd like as long as the initial time is up. We went to a few different rides and got return times for all of them and then took our time riding and eating and relaxing in between. It was really nice!
