I had a tarot card reading done on-line and OMG I nearly wet my pants! It was so accurate it was as if I had to look around the room and make sure nobody had been watching me.

:earseek:

I've got tarot cards that I mess with every now and then. It's interesting what I come up with.

I had a tarot card reading at a renaissance festival once. It was very general, I was not too impressed. I later started messing with them myself, but stopped. It just felt very wrong, conflicted with what I had believed in my heart about God. So I stopped.

Michelle and I did it at the Boardwalk with Madame Morganna when we were at WDW for an Agent Education course. It was amazing how dead on she was for both of us!

I did once when DH and I had just started dating. The lady was pretty good in getting a lot of info about me. She also said I would marry the man I was with then and have 2 boys & a girl. I thought she was nuts because my family is all girls and I always thought I would be the mother of girls. I ended up marrying DH and having 2 DSs. We dont plan on anymore, but sometimes I think that card reader may have known something.

Both my sister and I can read tarrot cards (me, not very well anymore). I've never really done a reading for myself, but from what I saw of my sister with others, they were rather general and I don't hold much water on the "answers" they give. They are fun to play with though.

I read tarot cards and tea leaves. I've done it since I was a little girl

I've been reading Tarot cards for about 10 yrs. now for myself and family & friends. I became interested in them after I had a reading at a Ren. Faire. I don't think they are evil or against God at all, but that's just my opinion.

Just once a very long time ago.

She was so accurate that it scared me! It freaked me out that she could know so much about me, and what was going on in my life at that time just by throwing down a few cards.

Too spooky for me. I really DON'T believe in it, but I'd have difficulty with any bad news.

I had 2 many years ago, 1 was pretty general but 1 was really acurate at the time except for one part (this is a rough quote cause it has been awhile):"you are at a celebration- having a wonderful time, feeling very confident, having a lot of fun and relaxed with a lawyer and a doctor". I had the reading done in January in April I went w/ 2 friends to WDW and was alone in line getting ice cream for all 3 of us and just having a wonderful time flirting (and feeling confident) with 2 college guys (yes it was spring break) majoring in Law and PreMed. Didn't even realize the connection til I got home and reread the reading she had done. It really made me a believer and also nervous about what I might find out.

What was especially freaky about the reading we did at the Boardwalk is she wished me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY for the next week and it WAS my birthday then. There was absolutely NO way she could have known that from anything Cathy and I said or did. I do find tarot interesting as a lot of it has to do with just interpreting and guiding what you intuitively know, yet may not yet be willing to act on. :)

I had it done once from a friend of a friend. She said she saw I was going to have a miscarriage. The irony, I was 8 months pregnant at the time. LOL!!!

I also have tarot cards and mess around with them for friends and family...
I do warn ppl tho that anything the cards say for the future, the person has the power and free will to change.

I believe in it. I've had readings, and done them as well... used to have my own deck, but I burned it. I learned that the Bible is very clear that its not good to have tarot readings - or to give them. Though the card readings can seem fairly accurate in many details, they often don't tell all the truth, but just enough to mislead people and lead them to ruin. Here is the Bible passage I was referring to:

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (New International Version)

"10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,
11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.
12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD...."

Also, Leviticus 19:31 says "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.

Just passing on what I found out. I sure felt free after burning that deck!
