Anyone have a recommendation for a good weather radio?

I have no idea what to get my dad so I thought why not get them one of these. He ais sort of in a tornado area, not common, but not unheard of.

I'd also like to get one for myself. I want one that is battery powered and has AM/FM and battery in case of a power outage/terrorist attack/bird flu pandemic.
