This may not be the right place to post this, and I thought there was a thread of people looking for photos but I can't find it.

Does anyone have a photo of the Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC)? I'm looking for the actual hospital building rather than CHOC walk. I figure that anything on their website would be low resolution and not so good for putting in the scrapbook. Unfortunately this was a part of our trip :sad2: but it could have been much worse, just a dislocated elbow.

On a related note though if anyone needs a good children's hospital near DL I'd recommend it.

Thanks.

I only have pictures from inside CHOC from when DS was there. I don't think i have one of the outside. But we go there every week so i might be able to take a picture for you. I'm not sure if I can get a good one or not. There is a lot of construction going on and they just put a big crane up right in front but i can try to take one by the entrance. Also, did you try doing google images to see if you could find a higher res one? Sometimes you can find better quality photos on the web but it can take some searching. I'll try to remember to take my camera with me next time. Please PM me if i haven't gotten back to you about it.

Thanks. I'll try a search. It was just last week so construction would be typical of how it was. My DH actually took him while I stayed with the other 2 at DCA.

I'll try to remember to bring my camera on monday or tuesday and see what kind of pictures i can get. When we were there last week they were just putting up a big crane and there were people way up high on it.:scared1: Sort of interesting to see how the new building is progressing. DS was there for 3 weeks and we had a great view of the construction. DS liked watching them dig in the dirt.

What exactly are you looking for? Unfornately, the buildings are all sorta ugly right now with the renovations going on. Im off the next few days, but if there is something specific you want, just let me know. But really, the way the hospital looks not is not as attractive as it should be. Google images would be a good way to go. If not, I am more than happy to snap a few pics for you.

The big crane is still here.

Lavendar Peach - I am hoping that once they are done with construction, they will do a time lapse video to show the progress.

Thanks for the ideas. I was able to find a photo on the internet. It's a little low resolution, but I'm only printing it 4x6 not making a poster so it shouldn't matter. That way it won't have all the construction that is going on now.

Thank you for the offers to take photos for me though, I appreciate it. Sorry you're there every week Lavender Peach, that's probably not fun.

I'm glad you found something that will work for your scrapbook. That's too bad that CHOC had to be a part of your vacation but at least it's a good hospital so you were in good hands.

No, it's not particularly fun going every week but DS goes for feeding therapy so that's not as bad as having to go do medical things. And the therapists there have been great helping DS learn how to eat especially since other therapists gave up on him before we found the great people at CHOC. It's worth the 70 minute drive and sometimes we get to make a little stop off at DLR so that helps!

I have a friend that does feeding therapy. I had never heard of it until I met her. Glad it is working out for you and your DS!
