I have a Passporter 2000 that I have used religiously for the last two WDW trips. I think I need to invest in an up to date guide, but I was wondering who has a recent book and why you like or dislike it. I'm not that interested in park touring strategies, I've been there enough to know where I'm going. I prefer up to date info on the resorts and the restaurants the most.

We usually buy a new Birnbaum's WDW guide each year we plan to visit WDW. The 2002 guide has all of the "100 Years of Magic" information, but many of the descriptions of parks and resorts are the same as previous years.

I've found the DIS Boards to be the best resource for up-to-date information on resorts and parks. :smooth:

I love all disney books, and think probably own all at one time or another. But favorite is the "wdw for couples, with or without children" by the perumullers (sp?). This book is THE book for resorts ? resturants. They are extremely detailed with info on the resorts. :D MKY

I just bought the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2002 and it gives detail on everything !!! The resturants section is very detailed on value, food quality, how many dislike and like, etc ..... I think this is a honest view of Disney, if there is something bad, or negative, it tells you, as well as the good. Its 746 pages of info. I bought mine off of ebay for about half the price as well as the Birnbaums guide too.

I have bought many in the past. The only one I buy now is whatever the most current versionof the PassPorter is.

I have never been to WDW, so I have recently purchased several guidebooks. Currently, we own the latest Birnbaum, Passporter and WDW for Couples with or without children.

I have found the Passporter to be the most useful, especially when making PS ressies and planning a daily itinerary.

Alt disney world for couples with and without children! Only wished it came out more often then every 2 years. :o

Thanks alot guys. I never considered checking ebay. I always keep mine forever. Thanks for the idea.

We really liked the 2002 Passporter.. we have the one from 2000, as well!

Also, we like the Unofficial Guide, and Birnbaums. Between those, you can't go wrong!
