Anyone have a Jeep stroller?

I have a jeep stroller, I got it at babies r us. It is very easy to push, but it does not recline & the canopy is very small. That is why I bought another one for my trip. I got a Combi, from babies r us it was $99. It was very nice, it reclined, the canopy was large enough & it folded up really quickly. It also had a carrying strap. I saw it in at www.onestepahead.com for $69, it looked alittle different but it was cheeper (sorry I got off the subject, I just wanted to let you know about this other wonderful stroller).

The canopy is on the small side, but my 4 year old still fit under it. What I really liked about this stroller was the handlebars! You don't have to hunch over to push it, so my Dh can push with no problem! It also has really good control-some umbrella strollers have wheels that feel flimsy, but I took my DS in to the store and we tried out each one and this had the sturdiest wheels! I think you will really like it! It also had a pouch on each side that my DS loved because he put his autograph book and pen in one and his sunglasses in the other! He loved that!

Yes, the canopy is on the small side. But, I love this stroller. DH bought it as a spare for quick trips in and out of stores and such, but I am using it everywhere! It rolls so well. And I love the handlebars. It is liteweight and very easy to use compared to other similar style strollers that we have had. I am very pleased with it.
PS-Yesterday DS1 took the canopy around to be infront of him and was playing with it! It kept him busy for a long time!

This was the last stroller we bought, our 2nd ds is 3 years old and refuses to sit in a stroller now. I loved this stroller, wheels didn't get stuck and I definetly agree with the comments about the handlebars. I'm getting ready to sell mine at a garage sale next weekend if you're in the area. :)

Thanks everyone - with no negative comments I am going to go ahead and buy this one! I love the light pink color - and am glad to hear all of the other positive things! :thumbsup2

Just wanted to add before you buy. I too was looking at the jeep stroller. Then I found the Grace Mosaic at Target. Check it out first if you can. It reclines, has a basket, easy to push and folds like a umbrella stroller. This is the one we are getting.

Sorry, but it is over $50.00 more expensive and has all of the features that the Jeep one has (except the Jeep doesn't have a basket) - what made you decide to spend the extra money? :confused3

I have a jeep stroller,,but ours is the blue and yellow model,,i can't find it anymore. so i don't think they make it anymore Then only thing i don't like about the jeep model is that is not wide enough. My model is 12 inches wide, so i need to buy myself another umbrella stroller for my 4yo to fit comfortably in,,which stinks!!!

BUT having said that,,i love the jeep stroller,,it rides nice has the pockets on the side for snacks or tissues or what not and i bought a stroller bag for my stuff,,since it doesn't have the basket,,the handles are high enough since both me and my dh are tall!!

i was thinking about buying that same stroller you are buying, but it doesn't say how wide it is across,,so i hestitate!!! and i can't get it at the store so my dd can sit in it or if it did say it i didn't think it was wide enough,,we're buying the maclaren volvo which is 19inches wide

but if you aren't concerned about the width then i highly recommend this stroller,,it lasted us a good 2.5 yrs that my dd fit in it!!

Dh and I are tall and the jeep stroller just felt like the same hight as all the others and a pain to push. The Mosaic seems easier to push for me.

My friend just bought the double jeep and loves it so I am sure you will like it too. :thumbsup2

I had a BIG Jeep stroller for DS (who is now 4 1/2) and we loved it. We got a lot of use out of it! But it was BIG. I LOVE how AFFORDABLE this umbrella stroller is and I LOVE THE PINK COLOR!!! For the price, you simply CANNOT GO WRONG.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

P.S. I am considering the double Jeep Umbrella for my trip in December...DS will be 5 and DD will be 1 1/2.

I too was all ready to buy the Jeep umbrella stroller until I read many negative reviews on the width. Many parents found it to be uncomfortably narrow for their children. I have done so much stroller research in the past weeks I forget where I read these reviews. Possibly Amazon.

I am thinking of buying a Jeep umbrella stroller for our Disney trip...this is the one I am considering:

The only downside to it that I can see is that the canopy is small. I have a stroller now that we HATE because it is hard to push...
If you have a Jeep stroller, what do you think of it? Is it easy to push? :scratchin
I was also looking at this stroller. I wasn't sure if it had a basket and if it folded down like an umbrella stroller and had a bag or not? I really want something to be compact so it won't be taking so much room on the bus and monorail. I bought this one at BRU. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...bbs_b_2_2/102-8172606-0196947?v=glance&s=baby

I'm not sure if I will keep it or not. I only have a short time b4 our trip! I really need to decide or I won't have time to receive it in the mail!

I really didn't want to pay a lot b/c she is 3.5. I just need it for the WDW trip!

This is the Jeep umbrella stroller I have. The canopy is pretty good size....has a small basket under it and has a cup holder. The basket is hard to get anything larger in, but I bought this bag thing that hooks to the back of the stroller that has all kinds of pockets and such to put things in and when you want to fold it up the bag unhooks and folds in half with a shoulder strap. The stroller is easy to push and easy to fold and unfold. I bought it at JC Penney's for around $25. I have seen them on ebay now. Oh yeah..and it reclines slightly, too.

I have this one too, I really like it. I got it at BabyAge.com. I also have the Combi City Savvy and love that one too...it has a few more features than the Jeep and I love that it has a carrying strap. The Combi is lighter than my Jeep stroller.
