Anyone have a canon G3 camera?

My lens cap pops off easily. I think I'm going to be constantly cleaning the lense from the resulting smudges.

Any way to make that cap a little tighter?

Jeff, I didn't know you had one of those!! Great cameras aren't they? I have the same problem too... I have been way too lazy, but I was going to go find some thin felt or something to put on the inside of the cap to make it a snugger fit. I just haven't made it to the craft store lately. I think that is one of the biggest faults with this camera (and I wish you didn't need the awful adapter for filters).

I finally got Best Buy to replace my digital that was having problems and I picked this one instead. It's a little bigger than I really wanted, but the features got me.

I think I may try the felt thing, that may work.

Oh wow, that was a LONG time coming with the Best Buy replacement! Glad they did though. I agree, the camera is a bit large, but it has helped me take some beautiful pictures! Have fun with it and good luck trying to get the cap to fit tighter.
