Anyone have a 'buggy board' for a stroller?

I was thinking of getting one of these for our next trip to disney, but trying to figure out if its worth the $90. Its that thing that attachs to the back of a stroller for another child to stand on. We're planning on taking our single Peg Perego Aria stroller, but thought this would be nice for my 5yo, especially making it out of the parks quicker at closing time. Does anyone know if it would work w/this stroller, or do you have one? Any advice?

I have one. We've been very happy with it and DS likes riding on it. I would say order it from somewhere with a good return policy though. I don't have an Aria so I have no idea if it would work with that but it took some trying to find a stroller we could get it to work comfortably with. The big reason being that the handles on the stroller had to be high enough for you to be able to stand back far enough from it to make room for the kid on the board. You have to be able to reach around them and still feel comfy. Strollers like my Mac Volo that is a good height for me normally feel kinda low when I have to reach around my oldest to push. I can do it with the volo but it isn't as comfortable as say my Chicco C5 that has taller handles. DH can't use the Volo with it attached. He has to stoop too much (which he doesn't without it on) and he ends up kicking the board (my feet go under it so I'm OK with that part).

It is easy to attach and easy to use though! If it works comfortably on the stroller you have, it's great!

I have a one and I love, love, love it. I use it every day with my 3 1/2 yr old and 16 mos old. Its so easy to use - but make sure you have tall handles on the stroller - I have a Macrellan Quest and its wonderful. My 3 1/2 loves it b/c sometimes he wants to walk - sometimes ride. its great when I am trying to pick up the pace and he rides on there quite happily!

Does it interfere w/the closing of the strollers at all? I dont want more of a hassle opening and closing the stroller getting on the monorail, etc.

Have one and DD would just assume stand on the Peg Perego itself. It was a waste of money for me.

It has to be taken off to fold my stroller BUT it is super easy to take off and put back on. Since my stroller folds like an umbrella fold one, it can't stay attached, on an Aria that doesn't fold that way it might. Not sure on that.

Even if you have to take it off, it is super easy and quick to hook up!

We have one, and we used it at WDW. We bought it for our then 5yr old. It was nice to have there IF you weren't going to use a stroller. I feel like we had more complaints than good things to say. Good things were that it was easy to fold up out of the way if you weren't using it(hook) easy to attach to the stroller and didn't add that much weight to push. Not so good things were that it ate up the tire(dug itself into) our Maclaren Twin traveler wheel by the second day we used it in the park. I don't know if it was the heat or that the straps just werent' that good(adhesive) but when my lighter than average 5yr old rode on it it grooved the tires. Plus the having to reach around my DD to push the stroller began to wear on my back and shoulders. I would suggest putting your child that will ride on the Buggy Board on a box that is 5 inches high behind your stroller that you are going to use and feel like what it would be to push with a kid there also, having to hold the BB and the stroller on the monorail. The other thing is that my 5 yr old got tired of standing and holding on all day.

I agree with the other posters. I have been in the quest for the perfect stroler for a 1 yo and 4 yo. I tried the lascal buggy board and it didn't work with my combi very well. It was awkward to push. I tried the Litaf Seat 2 go which has a seat on it too. Even more bulky and hard to push and it was meant to be left on. No easy way to get it off the stroller so definitely a bad choice for Disney World. Currently I have a Valco Runabout with the toddler seat and the Hitchhiker. I like it the best out of the three as it has many ways to easily adjust it for different strollers. This has worked out the best for us since all the products were made by Valco so they are meant to work together. The handlebar flips down creating a space for the 4 yo and I get a little extra walking room. I'm only 5 ft though and my husband doesn't like it as much as the board inhibits his stride. I saw a neat looking board in the One Step Ahead catalog which has a seat that pops up. The biggest problem with them are that you won't know if you'll like them until you have them attatched since it does affect your stride a little. Also depending on your stroller and how the board attaches you may or maynot have to take it off to fold up the stroller. Maybe if you can find the instructions for installation on line you can see if it might work with your stroller.
