Hmmmm.....I'm not sure. I think he is a doctor that can do follow-ups. He said I have "more" astigmatism than I do near-sidedness (I'm not sure I am explaining that right) and it would completely take my near vision and leave me with remaining astigmatism so I would have to wear glasses to read.
(I know my eyes are bad....they are practically shaped like a football with the astigmatism!)
ETA: I don't think anyone around this are does the surgery but there are some drs that are qualified to do the follow up.
