Anyone had experience flying out of Manchester, NH?

We may leave from Manchester for the first time, (usually we go to Providence, but much better flight times and availability in NH). Does anyone know of a hotel/motel near the airport that has a 'stay and park' program? We'd love to drive up the night before and have our car near by upon return. Thanks for any help!

Although I have never used them, I have been told to use The Highlander Inn. There aren't too many choices around Manchester airport and this is what someone on these boards suggested to me.

I believe there is also a Tage Inn that was just recently built. I've used the airport but not any hotels near it. You may also be able to find more info on the airport website FLYMANCHESTER.

I would recommend the Highlander Inn to, it's less than a mile, if that from the door to the terminals. I live 10 minutes from the airport and there is a good dozen or so brand new hotels to choose from in extremely close proximity, but not sure of the Park and fly program.

Not sure what the airport charges either.

diesel - the Tage Inn is a bit further down on Brown Avenue, you'd leave the immediate area of the airport, where others are closer by. Just some FYI if you come here again.

forgot to mention that other than the Highlander Inn, you should be looking for a hotel on Perimeter Road or Brown Avenue, these are the closest to the airport.

I'm kind of curious about this as well. We are leaving at 6:15am, so if we don't come down and spend the night, we need to leave our house at 3:15am to be there by 4:30-4:45am. Not quite sure if I want to do that, lol. But want to make sure I get to airport on time that early. Will some of these hotels offer shuttles that early?

The Highlander is the closet hotel to the airport (actually feels like it is at the airport), but it does tend to be a bit pricey. They do offer park and fly, I believe they charge daily and offer transport to the airport.

If you want to seek out other accomodations, check South Willow Street, there are a couple of hotels there about a 5-10 minute drive from the airport.

The Tage Inn offers park & fly and they have an indoor swimming pool which is nice if you're flying during the colder months. When we stayed there in May their rates were a little cheaper than the Highlander.

we stayed at the tage inn before our last trip.
We really liked it. The shuttle runs 24 hours a day on the hour and the 1/2 hour. I think it was $5 per day to park the car. We had the 4:30am shuttle, and were at the airport by 4:40.

Hi there - definitely the Highlander Inn - you can park for free and still get their shuttle to/from the terminals...check the Fairfield Inn - they're probably cheaper (if I remember the name right - if not's it's Town Hill Suites? At any rate, it's a Marriott hotel, you can look in the yellow pages). They may do the free park/shuttle as well..I seem to recall they do and was actually planning on looking into it as we're flying from Manchester as well and with a 4 year old and an early morning flight, it just makes sense....
