Anyone got an iPad?

Hey guys

Just wondering if any of you have an iPad?

My dad surprised us with one yesterday, and we are instantly in love with it (not even turned on the laptop or Mac since it came - other than to register it) definitely great for surfing the web and some of the apps are great.

We're also going to get the camera connection thingy so we can take it away with us to put our photos onto.

What else can it do that we're yet to discover?

Any must have Apps? My parents have got scrabble on theirs and we use our iPhones as tile racks, any games that are similar we can all play with our phones?

Dad is now counting on us to discover awesome iPad stuff to show him for his, so I want to impress him!!

i love it. so far have used it for surfing the web and as an e reader. i also have the camera connection kit.

I love my iPad I have lots of books on there and videos too! The camera connection kit is awesome. I have lots of Disney apps including dining and park maps, I like the BBC good food guide too, and I have lots and lots of games!

I like the iPad especially for iBooks. The Friendly Facebook app can be a pain at times, still think the iPhone Facebook app works better. Another bonus is it's easy for travelling with and fits in most of my handbags

Love our iPad too. I watch appadvice.com as it lists daily iphone, ipad and universal apps that are free for a limited time.

The troops and Diane enjoy games while my favourites are some of the productivity apps.

I got the camera connection kit for my birthday and it is an excellent addition which will allow us to forego the laptop when we go on holiday. Some usb headsets will work with the kit as a skype headset

Love my iPad too, got it in Orlando this year, despite me having misgivings about how much I'd actually use it with having a laptop and an iPhone, but hey it get's used every day!!

Another good thing is VLC player, meaning I can watch all my downloaded films and tv programs in their .avi format without having to convert them to a 'iPad friendly' format.

iBooks is also a winner, which i DID use on my iPhone, but it's just so much more of a better experience on the iPad - downloaded a massive selection of books for it (for free ) which got me through the whole Harry Potter series as well as letting Paula read her Twilight books

Love my iPad, only thing that's a problem which I need to see the genius bar in store. Is that it freezes, or sometimes kicks me off the Internet back to the home screen. Really annoying when busy typing etc.

Does anyone else have this problem

Thank everyone.

I must admit we had toted with e idea of one since release, but didn't think we'd really use it enough to warrant one (I use a net book and Jack prefers our iMac.)

But since getting this we have both just used it for everything. 3 days in and we already don't know what we'd do without it!

We bought pad racer today, only a couple of £ but it's good fun, more of a novelty than anything.

I'm currently using it to read my purchased crochet patterns PDFs - much easier to read, and better for the environment than printing!!
