Anyone gone with 2 year old and new baby?

We never did a long flight at those ages (we lived in Florida when ours were younger) but we have been to WDW with babies and toddlers of all ages. Go early in the morning when it is not so hot and go back to the room in the afternoon when the sun is broiling. Enjoy the pool and playground. Just go at their pace and you will be fine! I agree, though, that DL would be an easier trip and probably just as fun for the 2 year old. The grandparent idea rocks :thumbsup2 , we never had that option but I hope dh and I can be cool grands like that!

Oh, good Lord,
Have some consideration for the other people who are also vacationing. I do not think they would appreciate a 2 year old and a newborn ruining their vacations.
Wait until your children are old enough to appreciate and remember this vacation.
Personally, I don't think children under 10 should be ALLOWED at WDW.
Just my opinion, of course.
SHe is asking for advice there is no reason to be nasty. Disney caters to kids under ten as well as older children. There is a whole area that is just rides for children that are under 10. We went with our two year old twice and had a great time. It just takes planning. If people don't like kids they should go to an adults only resort not an amusment park.

I have taken a 3 year old and a 3 month old to Disney during March. I did actually hear people questioning my judgment in bringing such a small child to the World. I kept his sun hat on, sunscreen, made sure to use the baby care centers (excellent in MK), and we had a great day. The key is to use common sense and know what your children can handle and to take it easy. My children still remember trips to the World from when they were under 4 and those we some of the best times we have had on vacation. Minus the rude people switching tables when we sit next to them in a restaurant of course :)
