Anyone going to Kohl's this week?

I'm looking down at my desk and found a 15% off EVERYTHING at Kohl's coupon. It does not list any exclusions, except the Kohl's Cares for Kids merchandise.

So, since I rarely shop there, what are some of their "bargains"? I will occassionally get shoes for the kids, but other than that, I think their "sale" prices are in line with other stores.

I got turned off by Kohl's when I found a dress there for one of my DD's that had a "retail" price of $42. Oh, my lucky day...it is "on sale" for 50% off, bringing it down to $21. Well, that sounds great, huh? Yeah, except I had bought the EXACT dress A YEAR AGO at Sam's Club for $12! I couldn't believe it! An artificially marked up dress that is now on sale for twice as much as I paid for it last year.

Anywhoo...I might want to take advantage of the discount since it is available on everything, including sale and clearance stuff. Although, I do not recall if I have ever seen anything at Kohl's that is "regular" price. What, if any, hidden treasures should I look for? FWIW, the coupon is good today through Tuesday.

I got one of these in my email yesterday, but it said it was only good between 8PM and midnight last night online. It was also for 20% if you spent over $100 and free shipping. It was good on anything in the store. I have been jonesing for new dishes and I wanted fiestaware, so I've been watching them for about a year and they NEVER really go on sale. So I jumped on this and got them 20% off, as I think it's the best I'll do. I also picked up a couple of pairs of capris that were on clearance for $8 and a pair of swim trunks that were on sale for $5 (before discounts). I haven't seen a coupon like this for Kohl's before, but I don't have a Kohl's card, so maybe this is something the cardholders have been getting.
As far as what to get there, I do pretty well with kids clothes, and I find some stuff for me for work. I like the Dockers pants. And I've gotten shoes. You just have to be careful of quality, some stuff I've gotten there didn't hold up too well.

Kohl's, at least the ones in our area, have great prices on their clearance racks in the mens and womens clothing. A lot of shirts, pants and shorts for $5-$10. Take the % off for your coupon and you save even more.

I had a coupon for 20% off $100 last weekend. My DD17 and I went shopping the clearance rack and got over $400 worth of clothes for a tad over $100.

I buy a lot online and use the 30% code.

I have a 20% off this time...but if you only got a 15%...don't worry about taking it to the store. They have lots of little scratch offs at the checkouts and you may get a 20% or 30%.

But my only tip is to never buy anything that is buy one get one 1/2 off because that averages to only 25% off. They do that on underware and socks a lot. They usually have better sales than that.
