We are scheduled to arrive at Disney on the 4th. But now are having concerns because of hurricane Frances. Does anyone else have concerns or are planning to reschedule? We really want to go!!

Saw the same thing hope it turns away from disney ;) Still too early to tell but I will be there no hurricane is going to stop me ;)

yes, i'm planing to be there on sat the 4th, but if the hurricane rolls in, I don't think that planes will being be going anywhere. So I guess I will be stuck. I hope Disney will accomodate the stituation?

We'll be at Pop. I've waited all this time to meet Gail H..and by golly, I'm going!

My DD and new husband will arrive on the 5th for their honeymoon. They'll be staying at the BCV, and cruising on the Wonder-Thurs. the 9th. I know they'll be there no matter what happens with the weather. Just hope they don't experience too many travel delays. They are flying out of Atlantic City.

I just said to someone at work today, that if Frances comes, I will GO TO DISNEY--its a LOT safer!::yes:: Besides that, they recover more quickly too!;)

Well, since everybody else is going to brave it, looks like we'll be Disney Bound!!! Look out Frances!!! Here We Come!:earboy2: :umbrella:

Add me to the list, we are arriving for our honeymoon on Sept 5. The early models don't look favorable for Orlando, but 4-5 days out is always difficult to predict. We will just have to wait and see, hopefully we don't get stuck in DFW for too long.

Can't wait to see all my fellow DISers at the World!

We will be there this weekend too after not going all summer we are really looking forward to it. Hopefully Frances will miss Florida all together....

We are planning on arriving on Saturday! I don't care if it rains like crazy the first couple of days just as long as the plane lands!!!!!!!

My DH and I are driving down from VA on Sunday. We drive down I-95, which is right along the coast, so I am looking for an alternate route. It is so hard on us to drive over 600 miles in the pouring rain and bad wind..... Let's all just keep our fingers crossed that Frances turns north before reaching FL coast.

MAYBE, IF WE ALL WISH HARD ENOUGH, DREAMS REALLY WILL COME TRUE AND FRANCES WILL JUST DISAPPEAR......YEAH RIGHT...

We're going this weekend too (I hope so!)... arriving at MCO on Friday 6:00pm. However, we may cancel if the hurricane doesn't turn.. I just heard a report on the weather channel and it doesn't look good... they said there is nothing slowing it down and it will probably hit the central Fla coast Saturday, unless it turns northward...if it does turn, it will weaken but probably hit the Carolinas... but they won't know more until a few days.

Also, if anyone is wondering.. I called CRO and they said if there is a hurricane warning for WDW, they will refund room deposits.. and if you still choose not to go at this time, you have up to Dec. '05 to reschedule and they will apply your original deposit, so you won't lose it.

Hopefully Frances will turn out toward the ocean and everyone will stay safe!

We're going too. :D My dh is already up in Orlando for work, and the kids and I are driving up on Thursday to meet him. We're staying at CBR until monday.

I'm sorry, it's my fault. This is our 3rd Sept trip and it's the 3rd time a hurricane hit the week before we planned to leave.
Please forgive me. :duck: :duck: :duck: :duck: :duck:
