If anyone is going and wouldnt mind sending my 6 yr old a postcard from "Mickey" would you please PM me? We leave in about a month... he's professing that Mickey is just someone in a costume, so I would love to get him a postcard from Mickey, maybe it would help and keep him excited?

You do know that at 6 he DOES know that it really is just someone in a costume right?
My kids always knew it was just people in costumes that doesn't take away from the magic at all. Being at Disney is magic. I'm sure he will be thrilled at getting a card but he will still know it is just a person in a costume. You can't stop the inevitable.

He's 6. He's not 10 or 12. I would expect it. Even at 8. He's homeschooled, and I know whom his friends are and what is discussed. He still believes in Santa. Would you like to come kill that too for him Hannathy? He's TESTING me to see what I say. I just would like to make it through this trip. He basically said he's gotten letters and notes from some other charectars that (I've sent, or had friends) are real. And never from Mickey and we've gone twice. So he just needs a lil push. Let him enjoy it. ok? Dont be so negative. Spread a lil disney magic instead of the negative.

On the creatuve disigns board, there is a disigner, I think it is Ohana90 that will customize a letter for you from Mickey Mouse.
My 6 year old was super excited when he got his letter from mickey!

I just arranged (through enchanted calls) to get a recorded message "call" from Mickey for the day before we go. It cost me $4.98 for 2 calls. My kids are 2 and just turned 6 and I think that it will help get the magic started.
