Anyone going on Wonder August 13??

Booked my first Cruise ever! Decided to do Disney 3days with some friends. We will be moving to the UK for 3 yrs so hopefully this Cruise will make up for the past 7yrs living in FL and not going on one. The wife and I will be in 6064 hopefully this will be a good room. Well hope to make some new friends.--Doug

3 people on here is going on the 13 Aug Wonder!!!!!!!! WOW! Hopefully we will have the whole ship to ourselves! LOL spm23, we are moving to Lakenheath. I am definitely looking forward to it! Are the roads really small there? We bought a new Tahoe and I was debating on bringing it or not. I hope the weather is going to cooperate with us.

So far there is still plenty of availability on the ship. Any other DISer's wanna join us? A big group from my work are sailing as well so it should be fun. Maybe we can pick a place to meet up sometime during the cruise. I did this once on a Carnival trip, we had 50+ from cruise critic who met up and we had a blast, even booked a private excursion together. So much fun.

The roads are certainly smaller but we have large hummers on the roads now. Are you at one of the bases around that area, its a nice part of the country. Close to the coast and Cambridge and less than an hour away from London.

The weather is scorching here at the moment but the winters are cold and wet.

Happy to meet up one night or day for a drink with anyone going.

Sunday, August 13? We just booked ours on Sunday, we haven't got our docs and we don't know our cabin number! I put a thread out there a couple days ago. It sure is nice to know some other DIS'rs will be on the ship! Where should we meet?

I will be working until 3pm, so it would have to be after that. Maybe during Sailaway up on Deck 10? That's where we watched from the last time and it was pretty uncrowded and nice up there.

On all the other sailings I've done meets we normally wear something to set us apart from other guests so that we can find each other. What do you all think of Lime green or green bandanas? Are they available in the UK? We did white ones once on a Carnival cruise and it worked out well.

Its really all new to us, I take it the sailaway party is on the first night as we leave?

If so, will try and get some bandana's, not sure if we will find Lime green ones but if you have them on, I am sure we will find you all.

We are planning to dress up for the Pirate party. We are going to WDW the Friday before the cruise so going to try and get some POC gear then.

This time next week I will be at the Airport waiting to take off, nothing packed yet or even planned. Better get started.

So excited! Today as I watched the Wonder sail out I thought it's our turn in only a few more days.

SPM23, we'll be in WDW on the Friday before the cruise as well. Going to pick up some Pirate Ears and a few other goodies. Maybe we'll see you there.

We got our cruise docs today! AND, good news! We got an accessible cabin on deck 7! Since I booked "space available" I wasn't sure if we'd get an accessible cabin! Hurray! AND we got our son's updated Passport, too, which was outdate in January, and we didn't even realize it!

Only 6 more days till we are on the ship! I guess it's just the 4 of us going!

So....about the "mini meet".....on deck 10 for farewell party?
You will find us....I am tall, have red hair, and I will wear my lime green tank top. Chuck, my husband has no hair ( will wear a hat) will be pushing our son, Patrick in the wheelchair. Patrick will probably have on his tie dye Goofy shirt! We are really hard to miss! 2 angelsinheaven, since you posted your photo, we'll know you! Now, we just have to find our other DIS'r's!

We land around 3ish on Friday so will probably just head to Downtown Disney that day and rest, we will have been up about 15 hours by the time we land, we normally get a bite to eat, early to bed that night and then hit the park with the extra hour first thing the next morning.

I (Simon) have a green t-shirt, it will have a number 36 on it, my age and some would say IQ, short hair about 5 ft 8.

My Wife, Tracey has Blonde hair, about 5ft 2. Haven't a clue what she will wear.

Samuel (13) is fairly stocky, 5ft 8, short red/strawberry blonde hair. If we get a bandana, he will wear one.

Katie (13) is slim, about 5ft tall, shoulder length hair with blonde streaks in it.

Starting ironing, packing and worrying about what else we need now....
