Anyone Going on January 27- Feb. 3????

We have finally rescheduled our trip to January 27. We were supposed to be going on 1/9 for our anniversary but with the new house we just could not make the dates. So I was wondering if anyone will be down there. Does anyone have some tips on this years weather end of January etc. Hopefully there will be small crowds. Thanks for any input. Leaving Soon

We'll be taking a quick trip down for DS's birthday - staying at HRH from the 28th - 30th and moving over to BWV from 30th to 1st. Can't wait to take DS, his buddy and DH on the segway tour the morning of his birthday - and he requested his birthday dinner be at O'Hana's - one of our favorites from last year ! I'm going to pack for everything - last year, middle of Jan, it went down into the low 40s at night (very cold a few nights when it was damp and windy) - we were glad to have our stretchy gloves and head bands - and up into the 60s and 70s in the days - warm enough to sit by the pool and enjoy the hot tub - still have to change a PS, now that they added EMH at MGM to our first night, the boys want to go there instead - we're hoping for low crowds, too, but seems things are busier this year, so we'll see (although our airfare just came down to $44.- ea way, so they must have plenty of empty seats to be selling at that rate!) !

Two years ago at that time, my mom and I went. Was in the upper 40's during several days - we had on hats, coats, gloves. Several nights were in the upper 30's. I have also been at that time when it was somewhat warmer, so you just have to pack everything! I have never worn shorts, however, at that time of year down there.
