I am planning the first two weeks in November 2005.

How is the weather? Is it too cold to do the pool or water parks?

How about crowds?

I hate to think that I will have to pack both summer and fall clothes.
Mind you we are from the far north and we are in shorts and tank tops when its in the low 70's, so that would be OK.
But 60's, I would have to wear a long sleeve shirt.

Am I going to have to worry about getting up really early to beat the crowds? Are there any special things going on that I should know about as far as days that crowds would be heavier?

Thanks:hyper:

I go every year, the first week in November.(Jersey week) It is not too crowded only on early entry day, but from what I see around here any early entry day is crowded. Every year it is in the mid to upper 80's or 90's and every year the weather man says "We are having an unseasonable heat wave" HMM! Every year! Seems to me they should look at the patterns and make high heat in Nov. a precedent. Only one day was it cool in the morning on the way in that we needed sweatshirts. We leave NJ when it is cool in Nov. wearing cool weather clothes. That is all the cool weather clothes I bring. In case you get unseasonably cool weather you could always use the washer/dryer if you'll have one.

We have always been able to use the pools.

November is my favorite time to go. We usually go the week before the week of Thanksgiving. The weather has been great every time we've been in November. I wear shorts and t-shirts all day every day but wear a light jacket in the morning and evening as it gets a little chilly but not too uncomfortable for shorts. Morning temps are in the high 50's - low 60's warming up to low to mid 70's during the day.

Swimming would work but probably only during the warmest part of the day. It may be warmer when you as it is earlier than I usually go but maybe by only a few degrees.

I have never run into unmanageable crowds when I've gone in November but the second week of your trip will be Jersey week which I haven't experienced so I don't know what the crowds might be like.

Is there anybody that's gone during Jersey week that can tell disneydreamerinny what to expect?

We've been at WDW the first week of November in 2000 & 2003.

The crowds were very manageable in my opinion; rarely waiting in line more than 5 - 10 minutes. We have used FP as needed.

The weather has been very nice. Highs in the 80's most days. 2003 was a little warm (upper 80's) on a couple days, but not terrible.

In the two trips combined, we had rain for 3 or 4 hours (11/5/03).

There is a lot of scary information on the DIS about "Jersey Week", but we didn't have any problems.

Was there through 11/8 in 2003-- definetly pool/swimming weather. It was warm and humid (more humid warm than sunny warm). It was great--- especially since we hadn't had warm temps at home in almost 6 weeks!! Major attractions were 10-20 minutes and most others were walk-on to 10 min waits. Even things like TOT and Mission Space (which had only recently opened then) were no more than 15 min waits.
