Anyone going in May?

We'll be there at the same time hopefully. We just bought DVC and I have been itching to go for ages. I am going to call Monday to see what I can get for accomodations and then hope for a good Ding! It will be just me and DS this time....really excited!

Cool, not sure what day we are going to the parks yet. You just missed a Ding yesterday. It wasn't that cheap though. It was $94 or $109 each way depending on time of day!

Have you thought of Airtrans out of Rochester? I am seriously considering them - $86 each way. Our total with nonstops leaving ROC at around noon (much better than the 7am SW flight IMHO) and returing around 8pm I think for two of us is $385. NOt great, but I think the days of $29 DINGs are over. Oh well, it still beats Toronto by about $1000 LOL!

DD and I will be there May 3 - 7 we are only going for a long weekend to do the Minnie Marathon.

We are staying at Music......hope to see some of you there.

Do you worry about taking your DD14 out of school for the week. I have a DS14 and we will be at Disney May2-9. He has a pretty easy term this term but I'm beginning to question my decision to pull him out for a whole week. His school is on the semester system. Then again its grade 9, its not the end of the world.

He has a pretty easy term this term but I'm beginning to question my decision to pull him out for a whole week. His school is on the semester system. Then again its grade 9, its not the end of the world.

For us, it's two weeks (not all in WDW), although only 9 school days because of Victoria Day weekend. DD14 is still in Grade 8 (Feb birthday) and she does well in school. It would have been a tougher decision if she were in Grade 9.

Originally, we had considered going in July because of the school issue, but decided in the end that we didn't want the heat/rain or the crowds. This is the most we have ever spent on a vacation, and might never do something similar again, so in the end the vacation took priority. 8days/7nights at Poly MK view, DDP, MYW tickets + waterparks + park hopper. We also have another couple of days in the Orlando area.
