I know March will probably be crowded! So, I am having a hard time deciding whether to go with or against EMH? Any thoughts??? :Pinkbounc We will be there March 16th -25th. I am thinking of doing US one day and maybe a water park also! I would love some planning advise! :flower1:

We're going 3/22-3/28. Fortunately for you, you are leaving just when the crowds supposedly will be getting good and crazy busy.

We will be staying clear of the parks on Saturday (3/26) and although we'd like to try out a water park, from everything I've read, they'll get packed early in the day. Haven't decided yet about EMH -- will be interested in hearing Feb. and early Mar. travelers' experiences. :flower1:

Well, we'll be there at Spring break time, too, and here's an outline of what we plan to do. Arriving Friday March 25th, around noon, and check in at WL.

Friday, March 25: Magic Kingdom. (looking for good restaurant ideas for this night because it's Good Friday and can't eat meat.....and I don't like most veggies!)

Saturday, March 26th: MGM. Lunch at Sci-Fi Dine In

Easter Sunday, March 27th: Mass at church, then EPCOT. Avoiding restaurants this day and just hanging out. Thought we'd try Lotus Blossom Cafe.

Monday, March 28th: Downtown Disney and Mini Golf. Will probably try Earl of Sandwich.

Tuesday, March 29th: Magic Kingdom. Dinner at 'Ohana, hopefully timed to see Wishes.

Wednesday, March 30th: Animal Kingdom. Dinner at Rainforest Cafe.

Thursday, March 31: EPCOT. Dinner at Rose and Crown, hopefully with view of Illuminations.

Friday, April 1st: Magic Kingdom. Dinner at Chef Mickey's.

Saturday, April 2nd: Whatever!

Each day will probably include lots of pin trading, breakfast in the room and viewing of parades and fireworks, except Fantasmic, which we will skip this trip. We do plan on doing any and all of the evening EMH hours. We are not morning people, especially on vacation, and never do the morning EMH. We will also probably just hang out at the WL and swim. We do have PS's for all the sit downs listed above. Oh, on Easter I'm sure there'll be some Eastery-y stuff we'll do, too, especially for DS5.

So there ya have it!

hi - i'm leaving right before you get there but i'll share my itinerary with you anyway cause i worked so darn hard on it :earboy2:
friday 3/11 - spending the day at MGM, then once they close, going to Le Cellier for dinner
saturday 3/12 - day at epcot with dinner in epcot japan
sunday 3/13 - MK
monday 3/14 - i have to leave for the airport at 3 so we're enjoying the resort (CS) and downtown disney that day

my friend that's accompanying me pushed to go to mk on friday instead, he claimed it would probably be quieter then. but i pointed out that sunday is mk's EMH, and they're open an hour later. so even if it's a bit more crowded, we're getting 2 extra hours out of the day to make up for it. i mean it is march, not the summer or holiday season, so i don't think it will be too bad.

Has something been modified for March? I had written down that Sunday is MGM evening EMH and Friday is MK morning EMH.

We'll be in WDW from 3/5-3/12, staying at ASM. Do you think it will be crowded? Here is my itinerary:

Sat 3/5- Arrive & check in, PS @ Chef Mickey's for dinner

Sun 3/6- AM in MK, head to MGM late afternoon, stay for Fantasmic & EMH

Mon 3/7- Universal/IOA, Margaritaville for dinner

Tues 3/8- Animal Kingdom, stay for EMH if needed.. PM in PI

Wed 3/9- AM in EPCOT, head to MK late afternoon, stay for Wishes & EMH

Thurs 3/10- Breakfast PS @ Kona Cafe, bus to MGM, head to EPCOT later afternoon, stay for EMH

Fri 3/11- Breakfast PS @ Crystal Palace... PM at DTD for shopping & PI

Sat 3/12- DTD, transfer to MCO @ 3:30pm

How does that sound? I'm going with my husband, 2 friends and their boyfriends, possibly some of hubby's friends.

i called guest services yesterday and they told me MK EMH is BOTH Friday and Sunday. They didn't mention anything about MGM. I only asked about the three days we would be in the parks so i don't know about the rest of the week. their schedule changes drastically throughout march so maybe if you are going at a different time than i am it is different?

WOW - It would SO great if both Fri. & Sun. were MK EMH days for our time!!!! Disney hasn't posted the "official" hours yet for March (and didn't know that guest services knew either), but if March is anything like January, then, yes, EMHs are all over the map.

Guess I'll know more soon. Thanks for the info. and have a great trip!:flower1:
