Anyone going home in Sept??

We're going Sept 3-9- no wonder it was so easy to get a room -ith the member cruise, people will be gone and not with us! Maybe we'll switch at 7 mos to BCV? Not too worried about a hurricane as we live in Louisiana and if it doesn't hit one place, it will the other- I think we'll have a better chance in WDW!!

We are making our first trip to WDW as DVC members. We joined on our last trip to WDW in 2003. Our 'home' is SSR, but the WL has a special place in our hearts so we are staying at the VWL from September 25th thru October 7th. We usually go down in early December every other year, but we wanted to experience some warmer weather this time. We are hoping that Florida is hurricane'd out for this year.

DH and I will be making our first trip home Sept 15th to Sept 20th. Three nights at our home resort SSR and then two nights at Poly Concierge (for my birthday celebration). I am so excited. Concierge was totally out of the questions prior to DVC ownership. Now it is possible!

The hurricane issue has crossed my mind. I'm thinking... can there be two very bad hurricane seasons in a row?? I am encouraged by the previous posts that say they were there last year and are going back again this Sept.

We'll be there from September 10-17. The "adults only" group- me, my parents, and my sister and her new husband will be staying in a two bedroom and a studio at Saratoga Springs. The "families" group- my other sister, my two brothers, their three spouses, and their total of seven children (ages 4,4,3,3,2,8 months, and 6 months!) will be staying at Westgate Lakes Resort. My dad asked if he and Mom could stay with us at SSR so the "grandparents could have a vacation, too".
