Anyone go to Yellow dog eats cafe or Village Inn??

I'm thinking of trying these restaurants during our trip in Aug. Anyone ever go??

We have been to Village Inn once, on a trip back in 2006. It gets very good reviews, especially among the Brits. From what I can remember, it's pretty much just a step up from Denny's or IHOP. I can't remember what we ate but I know it was quite reasonably priced (back then anyway).
