Anyone go to Disneyland on Superbowl Sunday?

We were there today. I didn't notice the crowds being any lighter than other Sundays this time of year. The longest we waited was about 30 minutes for Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. Seemed like most signs had standby wait times of less than an hour. Almost all the fast pass returns I saw were within a couple hours.

We just got back, also. It wasn't what I call crowded, but it wasn't that slow, either. We went over to Space Mtn. at noon to get a fast pass and it was for 5:25 PM. Monsters INc. had a 60 minute wait and no fast passes. Soarin was 60 minutes and fast passes at least 3 hours later. Some of the other rides were slower--POTC was only about 15 minutes. We had fun anyway and the weather was nice.

I'm in San Diego now. We drove up to DL at 6:30 this morning. We were in the gate and at Main St. for rope drop. I saw A LOT of people this morning!! I was talking to a cast member later in the day and I asked him what he thought of the crowds. He called them "Moderate...but busy for a Superbowl Sunday"...All I know is I was in Orlando the last week of August leading up to labor day and Magic Kingdom was way less crowed than I saw Disneyland today...and I thought February was Disneylands slow season, like end of August is for Orlando.

The weather was beautiful...we just didn't last until the end of the day though...I was too tired with jet lag to make it until Fantasmic...

I wrote up a somewhat short report for Super Bowl Sunday in the Disneyland Trip Reports section. I honestly will say it wasn't that bad. I mean, compared to May 5 or December 25, it wasn't like those days at all.
