Anyone go on the 4th of July?

We went this past year from 7/2 to 7/4. On the 4th we were in AK, and it seemed crowded for that park. However, on 7/2 we were in MK, and 7/3 EPCOT. The crowds were not so bad. Seriously. We got to MK early and were able to do Splash, BTMR, POTC and HM all within an hour and 1/2. Without Fast Passes, BTW.

Now, I will never go on New Year's Eve again! Talk about crowded!

We usually go the middle or end of July but this year we were there from June 29 - July 16th. It was not horrible the way some people made it out to be. We stayed at the GF so we watched the 4th of July fireworks from there - stayed away from MK that whole day. We went over to Epcot and it wasn't bad at all. We did go over to the MK to watch the fireworks on the 3rd of July since they did the special "July 4th" fireworks both nights. They were spectacular! We had fun. The only advice I would give you is stay away from MK that day and make sure you make an ADR right away. Have fun.
