anyone get sick in 3-d attractions?

just wondering if anyone has ever gotten sick b/c of a 3-d attraction? last time i had on 3-d glasses i felt really sick and i'm wondering if i should even try any of the 3-d's at wdw......

Last year I saw the IMAX 3-D Titanic movie and an hour of wearing the glasses gave me a headache, but I have never had a problem with the shows at WDW (probably because the movies are pretty short).

Had to sit down a while after "playing" the Magic Carpet Ride at Disney Quest, the one where you look through those glasses to view the ride. Near/farsighted deal I guess...never my age of course...

I get somewhat nauseated while watching them (3-D) shows. I have to close my eyes during the Philharmagic show, especially when the Aladdin part is on.

The same thing happened to me on Aladdin's magic carpet ride at DisneyQuest. It's virtual reality, but it was nausea reality for me. I had to go stand outside for a few minutes and it passed.

I'd forgotten about my Aladdin experience.

Back in Oct 94 (before DisneyQuest), the Aladdin ride was set up at EPCOT as part of a look behind the scenes at Imagineering (don't remember exactly what they called the show). At the time, the plan was for Aladdin to become a stand alone ride, a few years down the road.

They picked several guests per showing to test ride the attraction, while the audience watched.

Although it was an incredible experience, I did suffer a bout of dizziness for 10-15 minutes after my ride.

Any kind of 3-D or simulator rides give me vertigo, so I have to avoid them or pay the price. i choose to sit them out so I can enjoy the rest of my day.

I look away during the Aladdin scene on Mickey's Philharmagic too. It makes me queasy to just start watching it.

A little off topic but may be worth something: I do fine in 3d, but I get very sick in 360 degree or panoramic movies at WDW.

Me too, 360 degree movies and IMAX movies get me sick if there is too much motion, like when they film from a helicopter. My mother had to lie on bench for a hour after watching the movie in Canada!

And I can't stand the motion simulators (Body wars and star tours).

Here's a good one, I got motion sickness playing DDs mario kart racing game on game cube. I thought I was going got loose it! I had to stop looking at the TV immediately. I bet I would not do well with the virtual rides at DQ!

I went to the 3D muppets and Bug's Life, and I had to close my eyes after a few minutes. I thought maybe it was because I wear glasses, but I am glad I am not the only one who felt sick! I kept wanting to see what was happening because I had my 3yrs old DS with me, but it was too much. I did finally just take off the 3d glasses and was better. I couldn't enjoy the show as it was intended, but at least I didn't feel like running out!

I have stopped riding on body wars and star tours,alladdin and cyberspace mountain also gets me.I seem to be getting dizzy and nausea now and dont think its worth the ride anymore.Theres plenty of other things to do and I would rather enjoy them.It must be somethng with getting to older.

Oh forgot to mention Mission space.........I rode it right after it opened and have'nt been on it since. Someone said they have changed the ride so its not that bad anymore but I'm not taking a chance....
