Anyone get pin $139 rate at Poly/CR/GF

I received a pin yesterday for a savings of 42% off room rate for the AKL or WL for travel most of August and September thru October 1. When I called reservations to get more info I spoke to "Roy", who told me the $139 rate was valid at the GF/POLY and garden wing of CR. I kept saying, "really?.. that sounds too good?".. And as he was chomping on his lunch in my ear, he kept saying Yes!!! He even checked the dates I wanted and said the GF was sold out, but I could get the Poly for $139 per night. Of course I didn't book it, and when I called back this morning I spoke to someone else and she said no way to those rates at those hotels. She said the only hotels for the $139 are the WL and AKL. I am so aggravated right now because I know Roy was just humoring me and had no idea what he was doing or saying. Unless the agent I spoke to this morning was wrong. I am going to wait and call again later, but I was just wondering if anyone else got such a great rate at any of those hotels?

I haven't gotten that pin code email but I'm certain "Roy" didn't know what he was talking about as $139/night at the GF would be a 65% savings and the Poly would be just over a 60% savings . The $139/night is the example at WL & AKL, with different savings probably available at other deluxe resorts . I'm sure you can still get a great rate at the Poly or GF, just not for $139/night .

I received the same pin code and just called. We are going on a Disney cruise in August, and I've always wanted to stay at the Poly so I thought this might be a chance to add on a couple of days before the trip. With the pin code for August 11-13 the Poly was $254 a night garden view room. The Wilderness lodge, woodsview bunk bed room was $189 a night.

When I'm offered something I think I want, I book, period. You always have 7 days to mull it over before you have to come up with a deposit. Availability changes all the time. Better to cancel in a couple of days than to wait and hope that on a repeat call you'll find the same thing available.

I got the code also with the 139 for deluxe. I had previously reserved the Beach Club with the 40% off code from last spring. While the new code says 42% off deluxe, it did not apply to the Beach Club. With the new pin, my reservation would have been over $100 more. It must just apply to WL or AKL. Both great hotels, just not where we wanted to stay this time.

Same here! I have had a room ressie for POFQ since Dec...I received a 40% off code in my friends name but to my address. I called and asked to change my existing ressie and apply the code, the CM did it no problem...then I thought, why not change to the BWI and I called back, got a different Cm and he told me I could not use that code since it wasnt in my name...thank goodnesss the first CM already changed the rate...now I will call back and try to just amend that ressie since the 40% off code is already in tact.

When something sounds that good you need to jump on is ASAP
