Anyone get Epcot resort with new code?

I called a couple of days ago and switched from POR to BWI conceirge with about a 20% discount (435 to 345) with my AP. I was hoping for a standard room. After checking the boards, I'm not seeing anyone getting discounts at the Epcot resort. Is this typical? Do you think rooms from those resorts will be release later? Or, are they so popular that they just don't have to discount them?

We haven't stayed at either resort and I am thinking of switching back to two rooms at POR to save a few dollars. Just hate to give up that Epcot location!

I'd stay with the BWI. You will love the location, the concierage, and the resort. I'd save POR for a trip when you can't get a discount at a deluxe. I've noticed the same things about lack of deluxe standard rooms with codes though people say it is possible.

When I called Yacht Club was available with the regular code and that was for the week of Easter.

I was offered a Beach Club Standard or Beach Club Villas Studio for $204.00 with the annual passholders code. I took the studio at BCV.

I tried to get fall ressies at BC and had no luck for a std room for weeks- then all of the sudden I was able to book last minute- people cancel the reservations and rooms open up (or maybe they hold out on std rooms in the beginning hoping most will stay at water view or concierge???- just a thought!)

my advice is to book a room at the resort you want and keep trying- you can always cancel! Most likely you will find a room available as it gets closer!
