Planned on spending some money today on Christmas gifts but I haven't really found any great deals. Just wondering if anyone else has found anything I may be missing.

I bought my niece a plate, cup, silverware, and a bowl from Disney Shopping for $6.00. They were marked down to $4, on sale 20%, and BOGO. I also got free shipping because I also purchased something for another family member.

For once, I actually did! Bought a ton of stuff since I was home without a car today and not working.

I bought some stuff from Macys, Bath and Body Works, Old Navy, Best Buy, and Amazon. It was all stuff I was planning on buying so I saved a bit and also got free shipping.

One deal I wasn't really planning was seasons passes for my daughters to Six Flags New England. They were 60percent off and included an upgrade to a gold pass. I also got them the seasons dining pass which includes, lunch, dinner and a snack anytime they go. Originally it was priced at $199 but I got it for 79.99. The passes also include free parking which is great since it is like $25 each time. They both love going and we live under an hour away so I know they will be thrilled.

So I guess it was a success for me.

the best deal I found was that walmart was empty of customers b/c everyone was at home on-line! they also still had all their black Friday deals on the pallets on the sales floor and were honoring the prices so I did really well on a blu ray player, some dvd's and ladies pj sets.

There was a great one we wish we would have waited for! We bought our kitchen-aid mixer on Wednesday for only 100 off so it was still 299 but today they were down to 199 on cyber Monday! I kicked myself but what can you do. We needed it for meal prep for Thanksgiving or we would have waited.

Barnes & Noble. I kept looking for certain dvds at Target, Walmart & Amazon and finding a better deal at B&N with the 25% off one item coupon and my free shipping as a member. I found it to be a great deal because I used it once & decided I'd attempt a second use- and it worked! I used code 25CMONDAY a half a dozen times today combining with my free shipping and it even stacked on DVDs that were already discounted for cyber Monday. I got a hardcover book I wanted for 78% off followed by 25% off that! I was in shock!

I tried to purchase a couple items at Target but discovered new "technical glitches" each time so B&N got my money today in individual orders lol! (Seriously about Target: attempt 1 site down, attempt 2 "access to server denied", attempt 3 made it to the cd I wanted clicked to put in my cart and a pop up said "there is a virtual line for this item, stay on this page and try again" WHAT? A "line"? I tried for that CD a few times over the next couple hours and was told to stay in line each time so I threw my hands up and paid a buck more for it through B&N.)

Our Six Flags irritates me to no end with their "deals". All of the good deals require you to buy 4 or more passes. Well, we are a family of two - just DD and me. They want to charge me MORE for two passes than families of 4 are paying! Uh, no thanks. So we just don't buy passes, and don't go at all, and they don't get ANY of our money. Hopefully one day they will figure out that they are losing business by excluding smaller families!

The body shop- 50%,off body butter, lotions, plus some gifts for friends! I stocked up for a year!( they're the best)

I ordered on H2o for shampoo/conditioner, that I got hooked on while at Wdw and DL. 50% off, great deal!

Uggs.com had an additional 20% off on certain items and I went thru ebates.com which had 10% cash back. Dd and I both got new boots and I got a cute pair of camo slip ins too. I got some gifts from kohls (they had a coupon and free shipping on $25 or more). I ordered some cute cardigans and a couple of pairs of work pants from Lee.com

I got a pair of LulaRoe leggings that I have been eyeing for a month. They were on sale for Cyber Monday and I couldn't deny myself any longer. Lol

Our six flags originally sold passes in 4 packs but now offer the same deal for 2 or more so you may want to check yours if you haven't this year.

The hubby got me a Kitchen Aid mixer. Kohls has them for $349, automatic 10% off for cyber Monday plus a 20% off coupon, $50 mail in rebate, and $15 back in kohls cash for every $50 spent. I think we did pretty good. We even got some of the accessories from Williams-Senoma with their 20% off deal and a handy gift card.

I am unfortunately not returning to the theme park world until 2018. I havelong ago "reset" our family Christmas to the first Sunday after New Years Day. I find much better deals after Christmas. Of course my kids are all adults and the are spread far and wide so this works for us. Everyone gets a deal and all the various in-laws have their turn first. However, I fill in all the gaps at half price. We did this for college and work schedules years ago. I did find a deal or two on a few toys my grandsons wanted on Amazon.

Panera, every $100 gift card, get $20
Cheesecake Factory, every $25 get two free slices of cheesecake
And I ordered some gifts for some friends, smaller items

Unfortunately, the big thing I want, a nicer semi-auto espresso machine, I haven't found killer deals on.

I love finding the after Christmas deals. One year the $100 Hickory Farm gift baskets were $8. I bought about 6 for various family and one for us. It worked well.

I did - ours is still only giving the deal for 4 or more.

For Six Flags New England the deal was less $$ per pass if you bought four or more. Think it was like $55 and I paid $66 each for three. But even with paying more, it was a great deal...particularly the dining and parking pass. Could easily spend $50 a day on food and parking...which I think is like $25.

Luckily, my oldest DD is 19 and will be the one driving them so I don't even have to go. They love the rollercoasters and will enjoy going with friends so it should be a good gift. Personally, I think Six flags is a rip off compared to Disney.
