This is probably impossible, but I have to ask. Is anyone on these boards familiar with Oklahoma City that would know of, and perhaps be able to give me addresses for cross docks in Oklahoma City?
My sister-in-law hired American Van Lines to assist her with a cross-country move. Can't be certain, but it appears that American Van Lines is not an actual moving company, but rather a moving company broker that subcontracts with moving companies. American hired Sirena Movers to actually move her belongings.
Sirena Movers left her driveway in Arizona on June 9, headed to Columbus, Ohio. It's been 20 days and the truck still has not arrived. They've been promising her for two weeks that it will be there "tomorrow." Tomorrow never comes.
Apparently her stuff is sitting in a cross dock in Oklahoma City. I don't know much about moving long distances, but it sounds like they're looking for someone else to unload her stuff to for transportation on to Ohio.
She is almost desperate. She has a 22 year old son who is multi-handicapped. He is having a very difficult time transitioning to their new house because there is literally nothing in the house that is familiar to him. He has no idea where he is and he wants to go home.
We thought if we knew where any of these cross docks are located that we might called the police to see if they could intervene. Honestly, we don't know what to do.
Thank you for reading. I'll take any and all suggestions. And might I suggest you never use American Van Lines or Sirena Movers if a move is in your future.
